Studio Inquiry

What if I told you that you have the opportunity to experience a journey of self-discovery, where you can celebrate the past, embrace the present and shape the future.

What if I told you, you have the opportunity to discover the essence of your identity by exploring your heritage, or friendships you have forged or even the communities you belong to.

What if I told you that you will be encouraged to unleash your creative spirit across various disciplines and applications, both print, digital and technology, to produce a selection self discovery artworks and own unique brand (product, service or cause) that aligns with ‘roots’ of choice.

Well… you can. Welcome to ‘Make Your Mark: Back to My Roots’ - let your story unfold.

In this studio you will investigate how brand identity, visual communication and storytelling can evoke emotions, ignite curiosity, and influence the way we think, feel and behave about a product, service or cause.

Whether you're a curious graphic artist, an illustrator with a vivid imagination, a photographer with an eye for storytelling or simply seeking to connect with your roots, this studio will only be limited by your own imagination.

Engagement

The studio is built around a culture of trust, collaboration and curiosity, with an emphasis on design thinking, ideation and strength of concept.

The studio will also provide first hand ‘real world’ insights and tips about the industry to help you forge your own creative path. You may even find your own ‘operating rhythm’ to help with time management.

We will also explore past and current design trends and personalities, locally and internationally, discovering who and how, have made a difference in their field.

One to one support, group discussion, project collaboration, developing confidence through presentations and sharing of ideas will all form a part of the engagement platform.

Communication of knowledge

Following a process of ‘Discovery, Creation and Activation’ you will develop and create your unique brand offering that will bring your ‘Back to My Roots’ story to life.

Using various design, advertising and media communications, tell an engaging story that resonates with your audience.

Activities

Studio activities encompass collaborative group work, design and research tasks, as well as the presentation of findings and updates on project progress.
